We are independent, family owned and run funeral directors based in North Devon and our aim is to make each funeral personal and a true reflection of the loved one lost. Lee Sherborne was born and raised in the town of Bideford. He began working in the family funeral business at 14 years old and has never looked back. With almost 40 years of experience, being a funeral director is somewhat of a vocation for him and he takes great pride in delivering a compassionate, sensitive and dignified service. Andy Punchard joined us in 2014. Coming from a farming background, this new career path was quite a departure but working in funerals was something he’d always wanted to do. Since working with us he has fulfilled his dream to become a funeral director and now runs our Ilfracombe branch. Georgina started her career with Braddicks and Sherborne in 2018. Having completed work experience with us whilst still at school she knew from early on that being a funeral director was what she wanted to do and was keen to join us again after completing her studies. She’s now a fully fledged funeral director working in our Bideford branch. Mel joined us in 2022 as receptionist and office manager and is the friendly voice you’re most likely to hear if you call our office. In our team we also have Del and Dave who drive our vehicles and assist on the day of the funeral.
