With over 16 years of experience in the funeral profession, Jason Corbin Dip.FAA, CM.BIFD is committed to providing a compassionate and professional service during one of life’s most challenging times. As a truly independent, family-run establishment based in Chichester, West Sussex, we understand the importance of offering personalised support to each family we serve. We take pride in being able to guide you through the arrangements with care and empathy, ensuring that every detail is handled with respect and dignity.

I have been working within the funeral profession for the last 16 years, the last 10 as a Funeral Director based in Chichester, serving the city and the surrounding area. I proudly served around 1000 families whilst in that role in Chichester.. After 16 years, I decided the time was right to establish Corbins - Independent Funeral Directors of Distinction, and on 24th June 2026 I opened my new funeral premises at 1a Adelaide Road, Chichester, PO19 7NG. My vision and dream are simple, to serve the community with pride, to give every person I am honoured to look after a farewell with the same level of dignity and respect as I would give my own family, regardless of the simplicity or complexity of the funeral. I will be offering local affordable direct cremations, traditional funeral services, stonemasonry (both new memorials and renovations of existing memorials) and pre arranging/recording of funeral wishes. I am able to arrange the design and printing of funeral stationery such as orders of service, I can also order floral tributes on the family's behalf, recommendations and booking of funeral reception venues, placing of funeral announcements, interments of ashes etc. Having achieved Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration (Dip.FAA), served as President of the Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors from 2019 to 2021, and being a member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors, I am able to use my experience and qualifications to guide families through some of the hardest times of their lives, supporting them through that journey and helping to relieve the stress and pressure of the practical arrangements by being able to arrange all aspects of the funeral with them. Outside of funeral directing, I am an active freemason in Chichester, I work for Goodwood at all of their motorsport events as an information steward and supervisor, and I myself and my partner are also West Sussex foster carers.
