C.S. Boswell Funeral Services is an independent funeral business providing individual personal care and attention to the surrounding community. Its founder Carl Boswell has many years of dedicated service and experience in the profession starting in 2004 at the age of 14 in Oxford and Kidlington. Since then, he has looked after many families throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. We provide a truly personal service, with genuine care and professionalism at the core of our duty. All of our staff have been personally chosen by Carl to offer the best level of service to our clients. Carl S. Boswell, Ryan Bo swell, Joy Davies, Greg Buzzard and Sophie Hastings-Blaine are the Funeral Directors of the company, assisted by our dedicated team of Funeral Arrangers and Funeral Operatives. We are proud to offer a personal, non-delegated serv ice which is paramount at such a distressing time which large organisations cannot offer. Each individual funeral service is tailored exactly to our clients wishes. We strongly believe in giving each family the time to think things through, so that every little detail is just right, and that there is no rush, you choose what you want, and in your own time. Carl Boswell is the principal Funeral Director of the company, assisted by like minded individuals who make up the dedicated team here at C.S. Boswell Funeral Services. C.S. Boswell Independent Funeral Services is a family owned and managed business. Its founder Carl Boswell has many years of dedicated service and experience in the profession, starting in 2004 at the age of just 14. Carl is honoured and privileged to have learnt his profession serving in Oxford and Kidlington for what was once known as Oxford's only Independent Family Funeral Directors, before it was sold joining part of a large national organisation. He then covered all areas of Oxfordshire across their nine offices. Since the start of his profession, Carl has looked after many families throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. Born and raised locally in Kidlington, Carl understands the local areas and the needs of the local communities within and decided to open his own Independent Funeral Directors to continue Independent traditions within the industry. C.S. Boswell Independent Funeral Services was established in 2014. Funeral arrangements can be made in the privacy of your own home or at our Kidlington, Summertown or Bicester funeral homes. Our premises are tastefully appointed with full facilities ensuring your loved one rests with us at all times. We have created our funeral homes to provide a warm, homely and relaxed environment. Free client parking is available at both our premises.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
