Its founder Carl Boswell has many years of dedicated service and experience in the profession starting in 2004 at the age of 14 in Oxford and Kidlington. Since then, he has looked after many families throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. We provide a truly personal service, with genuine care and professionalism at the core of our duty. All of our staff have been personally chosen by Carl to offer the best level of service to our clients. Carl S. Boswell Independent Funeral Services is a family owned and managed business. Its founder Carl Boswell has many years of dedicated service and experience in the profession, starting in 2004 at the age of just 14. Carl is honoured and privileged to have learnt his profession serving in Oxford and Kidlington for what was once known as Oxford's only Independent Family Funeral Directors, before it was sold joining part of a large national organisation. He then covered all areas of Oxfordshire across their nine offices. Since the start of his profession, Carl has looked after many families throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. Born and raised locally in Kidlington, Carl understands the local areas and the needs of the local communities within and decided to open his own Independent Funeral Directors to continue Independent traditions within the industry. C.S. Boswell Independent Funeral Services was established in 2014. Funeral arrangements can be made in the privacy of your own home or at our Kidlington, Summertown or Bicester funeral homes. Our premises are tastefully appointed with full facilities ensuring your loved one rests with us at all times. We have created our funeral homes to provide a warm, homely and relaxed environment. Free client parking is available at both our premises.
