As a small, independent, family-run funeral director we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every service is tailored to reflect the unique life of your loved one. Since leaving college, Isobel has worked in the funeral industry providing care and advice to all of the families that need her. Following the COVID lockdown she felt that she could do more as an fully independent funeral director, so Isobel Whittaker Funeral Services was born. Funerals are incredibly personal, so every little detail will be built around you and your family. No request is too big or too small and if you are unsure about what you would like, we can show you a huge range of traditional and alternative options. The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
