Our personalised service means any request can be accommodated whether at time of need or as part of a pre-paid funeral plan. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure that when you need help, we are here to assist you with empathy and expertise. We have been trusted undertakers since 1930 when Joseph C Roberts started the business, he continued to operate the business for almost 50 golden years before his son Charles took over. Joseph C Roberts is now under the control of the third generation of family members who continue to operate with total honesty and transparency, so we know how to ensure your loved ones receive the respect, dignity and personal care they deserve, this is instilled within all of our team and forms an integral part of our customer care charter. The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
