We understand that not all funerals are the same and that each funeral service is unique to the person who has passed and to their family. Everything has to be right on the day of the funeral, it can only be done once, and we will be there to help you provide the service you want for your loved one. We can provide direct cremations, traditional cremation and burial services aswell as eco friendly funeral services.. We can help you provide a service for your loved one which will celebrate a life well lived. Our funeral home in Sheffield offers a warm and inviting atmosphere and there is always tea and coffee available while we chat and help you with the arrangements. Alternatively we can visit you in your own home or that of a relative to help you. There is no additional cost for this. The arrangements can be made at your pace, and we will endeavour to do our best to provide what funeral service you wish for your loved one. Whether you contact us by telephone or if you come into the funeral home, you will be dealt with compassion, dignity and respect from day one, through to the funeral itself and beyond. We cover, Chapeltown, Ecclesfield, High Green, Hillsborough, Grenoside, Oughtibridge, Parson Cross, Shiregreen, Stannington, Shirecliffe, Thorpe Hesley and the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire.

ATTENDED FUNERAL (funeral director’s charges only)

Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements £365.00
Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises) into the funeral director’s care £175.00

Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends, by appointment with the funeral director (where viewing is requested by the customer) POA

For an Attended or Unattended burial funeral, the burial fee.1

For a new grave, you will also need to pay for the plot; for an existing grave with a memorial in place, you may need to pay a removal/replacement fee. In addition, the cemetery may charge a number of other fees.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.

1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
