Research from The Farewell Guide shows 64% of families search for funerals at the moment someone dies. With funeral expenses increasing and currently average £5,140, with professional fees adding £2,635, The Farewell Guide predicts that at least 15% of British families experience notable strains in trying to find the funds.
 

More than £35 million is raised on GoFundMe every week, with thousands of new fundraisers launched each day. Since 2021, the platform has seen a 21% increase in donations tomemorial fundraisers, while the average donation amount increased by 7.5%.
 

Through the partnership, The Farewell Guide becomes the only funeral comparison service featured on GoFundMe’s website, giving bereaved families access to transparent funeral pricing alongside trusted fundraising tools at a time when costs are at record highs.

The integration will allow users of The Farewell Guide to seamlessly connect with GoFundMe, enabling them to:
