Lindsay Jack & Son Funeral Directors was established in November 2007 within the small town of Grantown-on-Spey based in Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands. Since commencement we have been privileged to serve many families from within the local communities with a traditional, respectful and dignified service. We are members of S.A.I.F (Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors) who maintain a very strict code of practice which we strictly adhere to. We are very much a family concern, both Lindsay and Elizabeth Jack are assisted by their son Daniel Jack and Son-in-Law David Ross. They also have two daughters Sarah and Carina who play an active part in the family run business. Mr. Lindsay Jack undertook extensive training from a very highly regarded and long established firm of Funeral Directors based in Inverness. Lindsay oversees the entire funeral arrangements and personally conducts the funeral to ensure it meets with the wishes of both the deceased and family members. Mr. Daniel Jack is studying to gain a diploma in Funeral Directing. He also assists in an administrative role, attends call outs, is in attendance at Funeral Services to assist and is a chauffeur. Mr. David Ross is a qualified Bereavement Councillor. He also is in attendance at Funeral Services to assist, attends call outs and is a chauffeur. Mrs. Elizabeth Jack assists in an administrative role and is also in attendance at Funeral Services. Mr. Gerald Calder also assists with call outs, is in attendance at Funeral Services and a chauffeur.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
