Neil & Sonya Milsted are a family-run Funeral Directors dedicated to supplying a valuable funeral service in Harrogate and the surrounding area. We are not bound by corporate rules or distracted by share holders, but are flexible in our approach and committed to meeting the needs of the most important aspect of any funeral ( Caring for the deceased and caring for the families needs ) Neil has over 30 years of experience in the Funeral and Memorial service together with expertise in all the legal requirements required for Burial / Cremation and repatriation services. Having started his career, within the Cemeteries and Crematorium service, for Harrogate Borough Council in the 80s. Neil in 1993 became the Bereavement Services and Welfare Funeral Manager for the City of York Council. Before starting up his own Funeral service in Hookstone Chase Harrogate.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
